After leaving the Grand Library of Moonvael, Ryder and Eon come across Dain—the dashing Aeromancer who offers to help them cross Vaelwynd Pass. With some luck, he also teaches Ryder how to utilize the power of wind to his advantage.

When the team is stopped by the Crimson Gauntlet, Dain is there to help get them through. He also helpfully explains the mysteries of Mystvael to them on their way.
