Inferys, who goes by Erys, was desperate for a powerful mage to help her find her brother who was taken by the mist. She enlists the help of Ryder and Eon. With their help, they save him, however he is a shell of himself and she decides to join them on their journey to Oberon, the Grand Luminary, in hopes of being able to bring her brother back from his comatose state.

As a self-taught Pyromancer growing in Mystvael, she had to hide her practices from the fanatical Disciples of Aeiaris that live within the seaside town, but has been able to become fairly proficient at her craft over the last decade.
